Brock Lesnar returns to WWE Raw and attacks Bobby Lashley

Brock Lesnar surprisingly returned to WWE TV on Monday Night Raw this week in Brooklyn. “The Beast” decided to boycott a promotion from Bobby Lashley, then raised it for an F5. Then the German hit another Suplex and F5 before Kimura’s lock was applied to “The All Mighty”. The attack came before Lashley was supposed to defend the United States Championship against Seth Rollins.

It is possible that the angle was used to prepare the rematch between Lesnar and Lashley. The two relived their long-awaited first match at the Royal Rumble in January, which saw Lashley defeat Lesnar for the WWE Championship thanks to Roman Reigns’ interference. The two were booked as contenders for the WWE Elimination Chamber Championship match the following month, but were never booked as Lashley was written out of the match before Lesnar entered. Stay tuned for more updates on this story as details become available!

Modernization: Lesnar’s attack ended up costing Lashley his American title, as Lashley’s arm was badly damaged by Kimura’s lock. Seth Rollins rushed after the commercial break and motivated Lashley to keep competing by teasing his military background, then pinned him down with a Curb Stomp after attacking the injured arm.

Lashley then cut a backstage promo, demanding that Lesnar return to Raw next week for a head-to-head confrontation. Crown Jewel did not mention, but all signs point to it.
